Build vs. Buy: Making the Right Call for AI-Powered Product Compliance
Webinar Overview
AI has made building your own compliance intelligence platform feel deceptively simple. You can spin up a model, connect a few data sources, and have a working prototype in days. So it’s no surprise that many enterprise compliance and product teams are asking: should we just build this ourselves?
The answer, for most organisations, is more complicated than the prototype suggests. There’s a significant gap between what’s possible to build and what’s actually sustainable to operate at scale – and that gap is where most of the cost, the complexity, and the compliance risk lives.
Join us on July 1st as we walk through the real build vs. buy decision in the age of AI – including what it actually costs to maintain a compliant, defensible, production-grade compliance intelligence system, and why the proprietary data, expert governance, and almost 25 years of regulatory expertise behind Adherent are not differentiators you can shortcut.
Why Join?
- The Illusion of the Prototype
Understand why an internal build that works in demos rarely holds up in production, where accuracy, consistency, and defensibility are non-negotiable. - The Real Cost of Building
Get a clear-eyed view of the true total cost of ownership: engineering, governance, QA, infrastructure, and ongoing tuning – and why the numbers rarely stay at prototype scale. - Why Governance Is the Hard Part
Learn why AI fails subtly, and why the validation layers, human oversight, and audit-ready traceability required for compliance decisions can’t be bolted on after the fact. - The Data Problem No Build Can Shortcut
Understand why Adherent’s regulatory dataset – 120,000+ regulations across 195 countries, built over almost 25 years – is the foundation that no internal team can replicate quickly. - When Buying Wins
Explore the practical business case for investing in a purpose-built platform versus sustaining an internal system that demands as much resource as it saves. - Live Q&A
Ask your questions directly to our team.
