Japan Issues Proposed Amendment to the Radio Law

The Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications recently published a draft amendment to the Radio Act to amend Article 3 on scope of operation and supervision of radio equipment. This amendment has been mainly added the sentence of ‘It is limited to conduct the telecommunication services only’ to the clauses related to the qualification of wireless communication professional.
