China Publishes New National Mandatory GB Standards

the-great-wall-2190047_1920On 4 April 2019, China’s State Administration of Market Regulation and Standardisation Administration jointly published Announcement No. 4 which issues 21 national GB standards covering:

  • Photometric characteristics of front and rear position lamps, end-outline marker lamps and stop lamps for motor vehicles and their trailers
  • Regulations for the safe transport of radioactive material
  • Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for unitary air conditioners
  • Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades of LED products for indoor lighting
  • Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades of LED luminaires for road and tunnel lighting
  • Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for ducted air conditioners
  • Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for low ambient temperature air source heat pump (water chiller) packages
