I work on plain language and clarity of terminology for regulatory work in the age of AI, shaped by a career that has moved from community fieldwork in Vietnam into research on development and SDG-related terminology, then into industry. My focus is on how dense specialist language is interpreted in practice and how that language can be made usable without losing precision. This matters more now because the same wording gets reused in AI-supported workflows, so small ambiguities can quickly turn into real consequences for people and organisations.

More About Me
Passions & Perspectives
I tend to notice where written rules become hard to use in practice. That comes from time spent in development projects and community interpreting work, where there was little room to adapt what was written. I have since gravitated towards work where written material needs to function reliably beyond its original context.
