The Adherent CSDDD Implementation Tracker: New Deadlines, Guidance and National Implementations
Guide Overview
The EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, or CSDDD, requires large companies to identify and address certain human rights and environmental impacts linked to their operations, subsidiaries and chain of activities. Following the Omnibus amendments, the scope and timing of the Directive have changed significantly.
This tracker gives a concise, country-by-country overview of where implementation currently stands across EU Member States and relevant EEA countries. It is intended to help companies see which countries have opened a consultation, proposed draft legislation, finalised implementing measures or taken preparatory steps, alongside upcoming EU Commission guidance.
This Guide Covers
- The main obligations under the amended CSDDD
- Key changes introduced by the Omnibus amendments
- Companies in scope of the amended CSDDD
- Commission guidance expected under the Directive
- Current implementation status across EU Member States and relevant EEA countries
- Countries with existing national due diligence laws that may need to be adjusted
- Countries where consultation, draft legislation, inquiries or preparatory work has already been identified
