Cecilia’s Biography
Cecília is a Regulatory Compliance Specialist on the Global Regulatory Compliance team at Adherent, where she monitors regulatory developments across multiple Latin American jurisdictions. She specializes in Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S), with a focus on environmental matters, chemicals, and occupational health & safety. A qualified lawyer in both Latin America and Europe, Cecília holds postgraduate diplomas in Public Law and Taxation Law.
Before joining Adherent in 2023, Cecília accumulated over a decade of legal experience, representing a diverse range of clients and advising on employment, public, and commercial law. During her practice in employment law, she developed deep expertise in Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), helping organisations navigate workplace safety obligations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage risks in employee relations. This foundation continues to inform her work in regulatory compliance, enhancing her ability to interpret, assess, and communicate complex safety requirements across global frameworks.
