Principal Subject Matter Expert
Dublin, Ireland
I love working in this space because batteries and toys touch everyday life in meaningful ways. Batteries power the tools, devices, and systems we rely on, and toys shape how children learn and explore. Helping companies navigate the rules behind them isn’t just compliance to me; it’s knowing that what reaches people is safe, trusted, and made with care. I enjoy taking something complex and making it clear, so our customers can move forward confidently.

More About Me
Passions & Perspectives
I am driven by a commitment to clarity amid complexity, taking dense regulatory and technical requirements and translating them into clear, actionable guidance. I have a long-standing passion for bridging scientific principles with real-world application, shaped by my background in physics and electronics. I am motivated by ensuring safety and integrity in products before they reach the market, and I value learning as a continuous, evolving practice.
My work is rooted in helping companies “get it right” from the start, building compliance into product design rather than treating it as an afterthought.
I believe that compliance should enable innovation rather than limit it, acting as a framework that supports better engineering and safer products. I emphasise the importance of understanding the reasoning behind requirements, not just following rules by rote. I view products as entities that live global lives, requiring a holistic awareness of international movement and regulatory interaction.
I see most industry challenges as systemic rather than individual, often arising from process gaps rather than isolated mistakes. I value knowledge-sharing and collaboration, helping others gain clarity and confidence when navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
